BALR.University, formerly the Brotherhood in Advocacy Leadership Development Retreat, was created in August 2017 to help LGBTQ individuals

and communities learn more about the social determinates of health and improve

their leadership and development skills with

in-person and online workshops and webinars.

We use an Asset-Based Community Development approach that focuses on helping our members identify their individual strengths and learn

how to use those unique talents as a unit to

create a social change and fight for social justice.
